Street Snap #16 Tomari Port and the Fish Market (Okinawa vol.2)

I wandered through Tomari Port and the nearby Tomari Iyumachi Fish Market, just steps from the hotel. Watching ferries docked for distant islands, I found myself imagining journeys beyond.

The rough, functional concrete architecture of the market held a certain appeal. With the sea so close, everyday scenes took on an unfamiliar, almost surreal quality.

The GR III’s compact body and vivid rendering paired beautifully with the light and colors of the Okinawan sea, making it an ideal match. ■
