Shibuya Station is in the midst of a once-in-a-century redevelopment. Its completion is still years away, and the landscape continues to change day by day. I feel that this ever-shifting process itself is worth documenting. The city under construction seems to embody Shibuya’s true sense of chaos even more than the finished one ever could.
In front of the station lies a vast open space, where countless cranes rise into the sky. The sight of people navigating the constantly shifting temporary pathways, intersecting with the movement of heavy machinery, seemed to blur the boundary between order and disorder.
This time, I experimented with the GR IV’s new image control mode, “Cinema (Yellow).” I wanted to explore how light and shadow, time and space, could be captured through it. I hope to keep recording the “now” of Shibuya Station with this camera in the days to come. ■

渋谷駅は、100年に一度ともいわれる再開発の真っただ中にある。完成までにはなお長い年月を要し、その姿は日々変化を続けている。私は、この移りゆく過程こそ記録すべきものだと感じている。完成した街よりも、工事中の街の方が、渋谷らしい混沌を放っているようにも思える。
駅前には広大な空白が広がり、いくつものクレーンが林立している。絶えず変化する仮設の動線を行き交う人々と、重機の動きが交錯する光景は、秩序と無秩序の境界を曖昧にしているようだった。
今回は、GR IVに新しく搭載された「シネマ調（イエロー）」のイメージコントロールを試みた。光と影、時間と空間をどのように写し取れるのか。これからも、渋谷駅の「今」を、このカメラで記録し続けていきたいと思う。（→noteで詳細を読む）■
