The “Soryo Festival” (Daikanyama Cool Breeze Festival) was held across Daikanyama, and I visited after hearing that a RICOH GR booth would be there. Although the festival spread throughout the area, I mainly walked around Daikanyama Tsutaya Books.
At the GR booth, I had the chance to hear about the new GR IV from the staff and was delighted to receive special GR items such as a fan, a catalog, and stickers. Around the venue, many stalls lined the streets like a summer fair, and the bookstore was filled with lively energy on this holiday afternoon.
On that day, GR IV units were available for visitors to try, but I was fortunate to already own one. With my own GR IV, I was able to record the vibrant scenes of the festival. Under the clear Daikanyama sky, I chose black-and-white, so that the colorful liveliness was faithfully recorded as contrasts of light and shadow. ■

代官山で「爽涼祭」が開かれ、RICOH GRのブースが出店すると聞き訪れた。会場は代官山一帯に広がっていたが、今回は代官山蔦屋書店を中心に回った。
GRのブースではスタッフに新しいGR IVの話を聞くことができ、うちわやカタログ、シールといった貴重なGRグッズも手に入れることができて満足だった。周囲には縁日のような屋台も並び、休日の蔦屋書店は活気に満ちていた。
当日はGR IVの貸し出しも行われていたが、幸いにも自分はすでにGR IVを手にしていたので、そのカメラで活気ある祭りの様子を記録することができた。快晴の代官山で撮影した写真は、あえてモノクロとすることで、カラフルな賑わいを光と影のコントラストとして確かに記録できた。（→note）■
