Meiji Jingu Shrine, one of Tokyo’s most prominent Shinto shrines, offered a serene yet vibrant experience this season.
Nestled in a lush forest in the heart of the city, the shrine’s grounds felt like a peaceful retreat. The interplay of light and shadow filtering through the towering trees created a calm, almost sacred atmosphere.
Despite the spiritual stillness of the shrine, there was also a gentle energy in the air. Visitors from around the world quietly made their way along the wooded paths, offering prayers, taking photos, or simply pausing to take in the beauty of the surroundings.
Captured with the GR III, these images reflect the quiet power of nature and the subtle human presence that moves respectfully within it. ■
